I personally like to drink before noon. I don't think it's ever too early to drink. I always go by whether it's too late to drink and what I'm doing the next day.

How old are you? If you're a minor, than, yes, its a few years too early to drink! If you're not, then you might ask yourself why you're asking this question? Historically, most folks begin their cocktail hour when they come home from work and before dinner. On weekends, drinks usually can start as early as 4pm, or an ice cold beer after mowing the lawn on a hot day during the early afternoon, or during appetizer time at your favorite hangout. You have to decide. If you want to start drinking when you get up in the morning then you most likely have a problem with your alcohol. If you NEED to drink to feel better, then you have a problem with your alcohol. In either case, talk to a trusted friend or go to an AA meeting and ask questions.

Well, where I'm at it's about 7:30 PM.
That's about two and a half hours past "too early".
