  • Lawmaker looking into students' large tax bill 10/3/08, 12:12 p.m. Dorman OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A state lawma?

I knew Oklahoma needed more tax dollars. Glad they want to charge the local swinging jocks for attitude. I didn't know that was legal, but hey, this is Oklahoma! They want to profess to serving a billion, they owe the state.

  • Why is Bluestem always mentioned in ranch sales, when cattle won't eat it.?

Buffalo and natural herds eat Bluestem. I tried some and the stalk has a lemony taste. May I add it to salads? The grass-head has a soapy smell.

    Anyone make use of this?

  • How much do the Republicans owe?

If the Iraq defense bill (S.3001) is $611.1 Billion and the economic bailout is $700 Billion, how do we pay Congress and the White House?

The U.S. debt is currently $9.5 TRILLION dollars. Interest is $406 Billion.

Reagan's military cost us $1.6 Trillion. Interest rates almost hit 20%.

We can't afford the "War on Terror", how are we supposed to prop up the financial industry? Why should we? The Republican talk about the Democrats spending, but it's the Republicans who run up the national debt and screw up our economy.

Who's going to pay for Bush's spending?

  • I've asked my neighbors to be more quiet but I'm sick of their loud stereo and yelling?

They woke me up again, tonight. They play the same cd at 1:30 and/or 7:30 am, very loudly. It skips in one spot. Last Saturday, that skip was heard in my bedroom for 45 minutes. That was my last straw. I thought this would go bad when they were hanging pictures at midnight.

I beat on the wall and yelled at them to shut up, after they woke me tonight. I think it's time to call the cops, the next time they bass my bedroom at 1:30 in the morning.

I've asked nicely, in person and I've put up with their stereo, yelling, fighting and amorous screaming for at least 6 months. I think it's time to call the cops, before I complain to the manager.

Unfortunately, they've really annoyed me, so now I hate them.

Is there a nice way to let them know I've had it and get them to STFU, before I have them evicted?

  • FEMA wants immunity. I still want to know why FEMA left so many to fend for themselves?

FEMA left many in a lurch, after Katrina. Trailers sat unused, in Dallas and FEMA had excuses. 3 yrs later, Katrina survivors fight back. The people "lucky" enough to get trailers, are living with formaldehyde fumes and no homes. Caribbean people rebuild immediately, use cinder block and move on. A year later, people have homes and jobs. Maybe not great, but workable. Why do we fund FEMA if they don't do anything, spend millions, maybe billions and make the situation worse?

FEMA doesn't work. We're better off shutting it down and letting people fend for themselves. We can help others recover, but we can't help our own. I think FEMA should be held accountable, what do you think? They had years to plan for a catastrophe and plenty of money. Our government needs to be accountable for our investment, don't you think?

  • My favorite anti-hero, Dexter, displayed anger and fear. Would a sociopath really become angry?

Dexter got scared, angry and had a conscience. Wouldn't a true sociopath have killed Doakes, without agonizing about it?

  • Have you ever watched a young cop? How fast does he get old?

My buddy from school used to stop me on the street, give me hugs, for a year. Now he's serious, dismissive, and about 10 years older.

I had to remind him, why I looked familiar. He used to be fun and happy. Now, he's serious as a heart attack.

  • I don't really want to attend my daughter's wedding. She's also given me an ultimatum. What?

I lived with her father, the control freak, for 13 years. I'm sick to death of control and ultimatums. I'm tempted to bow out and not attend. I asked her if it was so important, did it really mean she didn't want me there? She says she wants me there, if I follow her rules.

I might fly in for the ceremony and leave, immediately. I'm sick to death of other's rules.

  • Have you ever thought about how you vote, with other women?

There's a cool website about women's votes, involving breast cancer and mastectomy. I'm older, more prone and only found 2 others with gray hair in the gallery. If you had to have surgery, would you tell? Would you stay in the hospital? Would you ask for help?

  • Who actually voted for Mondale/Ferraro?

"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," Ferraro told a California newspaper. "And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

Now we know what Geraldine Ferraro thought of herself, all those years ago. Yuck.

What a hateful woman. No wonder Reagan won. They need to duct-tape her mouth and dispose of her, quickly!

  • Are "upskirt" photos illegal? Should they be?

A Tulsa, Oklahoma judge just ruled Riccardo Ferrante did not break a law because he took an upskirt photo of a 16-year-old, at the mall. The judge deemed the girl not having any privacy because she was at a mall. What???

I'm endowed and I don't want to show them off. Who carries a wide shoulder strap, nice support and not too much padding. I don't need to look bigger, or push-ups. I'd rather be smaller. Any ideas?

  • I have a distinctive username and it torques me to be told it's used.?

My username was bestowed upon me by a friend. In the early days, I would get IMs on AOL from a kid's mom and his friends.

It was my name first and I've had it for almost 10 years. It was stolen on MySpace and now another site tells me it's taken, because I lost connect with the site during registration. If a name is mine, I think it should mine and they should let me have it. Yahoo closed my account and wouldn't let me have my old name, even though I'm the same person.

I've been muppetkiller for 10 years on a variety of boards. I think I shoud be entitled to my own name, yes?

  • Got my first gray at 16, highlighted for years, then dyed. My gray is white, sparkly and cool. Integration?

My base color has darkened over the years. I'm sick of dying my hair. I let it grow out and now there's a blond line with dark hair and silver stripes. Should I frost it in the interim? Cut it all off to natural? I like my silver stripes and I want to "grow" into them. I don't want to dye my hair anymore. Suggestions would be appreciated!

  • Premature gray in teens, dyed for years. It's over 70% white, how to transition?

Started going gray in streaks, in teens. Started frosting my hair in late 20's and it looked good. Started dying my hair, close to natural color, late 30's. I've let it grow out and the "color" is darker than it used to be. I'm 70% white, with some streaks and I'd like to "own" it. The dye line looks trashy and I was considering frosting it, while it grows out. Any ideas for transitioning? My gray is really the shiny silver/white and I'd rather play it up, for the sparkle factor.

How stupid will it look frosted, with dark blond on the bottom, white/dark up top? I never had dark hair growing up, the color differential has thrown me for a loop. I don't want to dye it anymore, there's always a lighter stripe at the roots, because my white doesn't really hold color; even when the pros do it.
