I've asked my neighbors to be more quiet but I'm sick of their loud stereo and yelling?

They woke me up again, tonight. They play the same cd at 1:30 and/or 7:30 am, very loudly. It skips in one spot. Last Saturday, that skip was heard in my bedroom for 45 minutes. That was my last straw. I thought this would go bad when they were hanging pictures at midnight.

I beat on the wall and yelled at them to shut up, after they woke me tonight. I think it's time to call the cops, the next time they bass my bedroom at 1:30 in the morning.

I've asked nicely, in person and I've put up with their stereo, yelling, fighting and amorous screaming for at least 6 months. I think it's time to call the cops, before I complain to the manager.

Unfortunately, they've really annoyed me, so now I hate them.

Is there a nice way to let them know I've had it and get them to STFU, before I have them evicted?

They obviously don't care about you, and are blowing you off, probably thinking after all this time that you won't do anything and neither will anyone else, so they will most likely just keep disturbing the peace until some dude or dudette, in a uniform with a badge on it come pounding on the door telling them to quiet down. From what I understand, this works fairly well. If it keeps up, I've heard that the third time is usually the charm that gets you kicked out. Trust me, they won't listen to you now any more than they have in the past. Leave this up to the proper authorities. It's never good to take things into your own hands with unruly neighbors. They can make your life hell.

All you can do is call the police. They are breaking the law playing loud music past/before a certain hour. Call and report them to the police everytime. Each time you do, and the police respond, there is a record of the visit. Their disturbances will be addressed in more aggressive ways depending how many times you call the police on them. The first time they might get a kind request and the simple presence of a police man at your door in most cases is enough for some people to know that someone means business. But if the cops are called on more than one occasion, then they can be fined or often times arrested for disturbing the peace. You should not feel bad for calling the police. Your rights are being violated. You have the right to a good nights sleep and just a plain peaceful atmosphere. If it gets to be too much to handle...ask your landlord if you can move to a different apartment or complain to the landlord too and let them know that you have called the police on various occasions because of the noise. If there are other tenants complaining too then more than likely management will be forced to evict these creeps.

BTW the police can not release your name or any information regarding who called the police to the person in question. The police have a job to maintain peace and to protect the innocent. They are not going to reveal their source(s) as that would be grounds for their dismissal...not to mention a lawsuit on your part. Just know your information will be safe when you report such crimes.

If I heard that skip for 45 minutes, I would have called the police and told them I think something is wrong in that apartment. It's amazing that people can tolerate that though. One night in the dorm, I heard the girls next door quiet down. (They weren't loud to begin with, but you could hear muffled voices through the wall.) Then I heard the same quiet song over and over and over again. I finally told our RA what was going on. When she knocked on the door, the girls were in there, and it sounded like they were awake. Who knows what they were doing that whole time.

I went through this growing up under my parents roof. then I moved to the other side of town Ahhh bliss!

They would go all All hours of the night. One guys would come and keep his semi runing to keep it warm in the winter.

It sucks! Call the cops but remain anonomous because they might retalliate. Then agian the cops did not do much . It would settle down then start up several days later.

I used a fan to drown out the noise when I lived at home. in most cases quite effective.

it is not a criminal offense to play track in the time of daylight hours yet whilst it rather is persevering with and interferes with you with the flexibility to appreciate your residing area you will desire to do some thing. tell your landlord, permit him pay attention to the tapes or ask him to return over. He would desire to consult with the friends or the owner of the adjacent domicile. If not something is finished and the friends won't do something approximately it, touch the police dept. Ask different friends if it is bothering them. there is power in numbers, If sufficient human beings *****, they can supply up. they are traumatic the peace. in case you may not try this or not something is finished, circulate yet rfile all of the subject concerns and supply notice. this way your case would get up in court docket in case you go away before your hire is over

It is illegal to play loud music after midnight. You can call the police using the department number, not 911, to kindly tell them your situation, and they'll be happy to help. If the police doesn't do anything, well, good luck.

Tell the management first, but should they refuse to help you out on this, report to the police immediately.
