Why is it that I often dream of my dead ancestors giving me advise on situations I am facing in waking hours?

You should HEED what they say as they live in the world of truth and we in the world of lies. Listen well. You are fortunate to have them speak to you. You should also take the time to ask God to forgive them and show them mercy as the dead can hear the invocations of the living.

I know some people believe that it is what it is. As in, you are communicating with who you think you are. They approach you in a dream state because that is the easiest way/place/time to reach you. They give you advice because they love you and want to help you.

I don't know if I believe this, but I don't disbelieve. I mean anything is possible. There are quite a few new age type books that discuss these sorts of possibilities, if you are into that kind of thing.

My sister has claimed to have similar experiences to this. After someone in our family has died they usually go "see" my sister in a dream. This happened only 2 summers ago when my grandmother passed. My sister called me the next day and told me that my grandmother had come to her in a dream and my grandmother was very upset because she had tried to visit everyone and my sister was the only one who could see her.

Whether it is a figment of your dreams or it is really them, I would take their advice, it is probably good advice.

hmm my mom faced the same situation . It is that they loved u alot my grandmother sometimes follow me to . so best it u meditate before sleeping , pray for ur ancestors souls may achieve peace.

DOnt think of them much as we beleive that the souls get distrubed when u think abt them .

IF u dont want to see them then Keep water near ur bed b4 sleeping when u dream abt them assumin that they r near u throw water on them and scold/abuse them .

This will give u a feelin that u wont see them and eventually they go away .

I did this when my grandmother was tryin to pull me with her to heaven

hmmm i may sound silly but that is my own true experience

-Your dreams are so veg that you interpret it as a spiritual connection. Stuff that is open for interoperation.

-This is a metal trick your brain is playing.

-If someone stays at your house at night, kids or partner, they could be whispering thoughts into your ears to play tricks on you.

you love them and you need advice.

so our brain plays a trick on you, killing two birds with one stone.
