How do they get sauce into those small sachets?
By sachets I mean the small plastic things you have to tear to get the sauce out of.

Someone sits and pours a specific quantity from a ketchup bottle into a very small measuring jug and then pours it into the open sachet. They then heat seal the top using a hairdrier...
Actually, I would think it's all done by machine and probably in another country. Like everything else these days.

it's all done by machines.
people are hired just to make sure the machines work properly. they just pour ingredients into the machine, and the machine mixes it all up and squirts out the sauce through nozzles. the little satchets are cut by machines and three sides of it are pre-sealed. after they are filled with sauce, another machine seals them. the hired people then pack them and make sure they're sent out.

If you're curious about things like that you should watch the learning channel. There's a show on that channel called How's It Made. They show how they do all kinds of things like that.
