I live in UK. Any suggestions of how and what to send as a wedding present for a couple who live in Sacramento

California USA. Send money or a gift voucher at one of the local stores? Which local shops have that facility? Any suggestions welcome.

We sent a Macy's gift certificate to our friends hwen they got married. They can sell them to you online, and they also have a wedding register service, so you can purchase gifts they've requested.

When I have a gift to send to a couple in another city/country, I always order the gift through the online registry of the store they're registered at. The couple will be notified and can pick the gift up at the store near them. The store will usually gift wrap it and include a note that says who it's from. I purchase a wedding card and mail that myself.

Check and see if they have a registry! From there you can shop right on line for something they've picked out to set up their new home. You probably will save on shipping, too, since it'll be shipping from the US to the US.
