I'm on a yahoo! group that has over 70,000 posts with only 20+ members. Can any other group top that?

    Do you have any friends that know how to develop a web application? If so, you should have one of them create a yahoo! groups type of application. It can't be that hard.

    This sounds more like a chat group then a Yahoo! Group.

    I bet there are brief back and forth messages that take up lots of room in their email server.

    I can't imagine how convoluted some of the back and forth messages must get.

    The group I own average about 500 messages a month and that is a lot of mail to mess with.

    So, is that other person saying that yahoo! groups is not designed for that? You're not supposed to post so much? How is a chat group different?
