What is your opinion on Time? Theory or Fact?
Is time is a theory that mankind made up.
If you think it is a fact then prove 60 minutes = 1 hour.

Science doesn't prove things. If you want proof, go bother the mathematicians with stupid questions. Time is a postulate just like length, energy, and every other physical quantity. The only proof science offers is that the derived consequences of its postulates match our observations.

Time is a relationship between matter and energy. Where both occupy the same locus, then time relates them. Thus, it is not a theory.
For short moments during which there is no energy in a space, then there is no time - in essence, there is no work done, so there is no relationship. As an example in the macro, imagine a rock on a hillside. Unless the world's energy makes the rock move, then as far as the rock is concerned, time has stopped.
Both the concept of a minute and an hour are socially defined, so the proof you request is subjective: if a society does not know what is a minute or an hour, then this reality cannot be proven. Otherwise, and hour is always 60 minutes in Real Time, by fiat of the standard as written.
There are two types of time: Real Time and Imaginary Time, and both overlay the same logistical space, but in different universes (you might call them dimensions). Our Sun expresses energy in both Real Space and Imaginary Space, thus the process of antimatter activity requires Imaginary Time to be in motion as does Real Time for our use of energy.
Also, since the beginning and the end of both the current Real Universe (ours) and the Imaginary Universe (antimatter) occur at the same moment - during the last and the next Big Bang, the two time standards are dynamically tied.

This is a more complicated question than it appears. There is a good article about this in this (or lasts?) month Discover magazine. According to this article, and I am not an expert, nobody knows the nature of time. Neither the theory of relativity nor quantum mechanics require that time actually move forward. Many people think that unifying the two theories will require doing away with time.
But read the article.

That's an easy answer.
Time according to Einstein is relative, as the speed, it depends on where we are @.
It means that TIME is based on the fact that we round around the sun-moon.
EARTH TIME is based on that fact .
1 days has 24 hours time in which the earth rounds around its own axis.
1 year has 365 days the earth to round the sun is 365.25 days
60 minutes = 1 hour based on those facts believe me they're not mankind made up u can see notice when it's night time and when is day time.
60 minutes is a subdivision of EARTH TIME.
Noticed the fact that when you listen Astronomers they say things like.....
the distance from here to X planet is Z light-years and Z units of light-years = ( 9,460,730,472,580.8 km = year of exactly 365.25 days= the distance light travels in a vacuum in one year. )
IF there is life in another planets they're definetely not based on around our TIME because they're outside of the orbits of the sun and the moon. Humans are starting to measure their time based on the speed of the light and our own time.
Ancients civilizations such as Mayans have done similar things. They've created their own calendar, based about moon rotations and the sun... even though Mayan time is not the same as ours is based on those rotational and planets factors.

Theory. The earth rotates on it's axis. One rotation = 1 hour. 24 rotations=24 hours(one day)

Time is a man-made device for measuring space and I will show you by asking you
Which is longer: a mile or an hour?
At first glance, this question doesn't make sense because the two appear to be measuring different aspects of reality. Yet, it can be answered.
One mile is 5260 feet. That is common knowledge. So, how do we convert an hour (a unit of time) into feet (a unit of space) so that we can see which is longer?
Simple. The Earth completely rotates on its axis once every 24 hours. The circumference of the Earth at the equator is 25,000 miles. Therefore, if you were to hang above the surface of the Earth at the equator without moving, you would see 25,000 miles pass by in 24 hours, at a speed of 25000/24 or just over 1000 miles per hour.
This means an hour equals about 1000 miles and is definitely longer than one mile.
When physicists talk of time, they cannot do so without speaking of space. To remedy this, they speak only of space-time because it is all one. You cannot have one without having the other so you cannot measure one without measuring the other.

60 minutes is 1 hour for the same reason water boils at 100*C, we picked the numbers ourselves. an hour is an hour because we say its an hour.
Time however is not made up, it is the 4th dimension of your universe.

Time exists, but it did not have to be defined the way we have defined it. I can prove that 60 min = 1 hour because we defined it that way.

it's all relative.
it's a fact that we can trace time and that time can exist.
but it's a theory that time exists everywhere. our view point says that time exists in other places, but it hasn't been proven. things could be standing still or moving backwards.
our own reasoning of time can be calculated mathematically so it can be a fact. but even at that, it's all relative without a proper instrument to record that time is actually taking place.
