What job won't you do?

Sorry can't think of any. I have crawled around in the chicken barns catching chickens,(dirty nasty job) because I needed the money for my family. That was my night job, durring the day I stacked railroad ties in a sawmill. This was in 1995, I got paid $6 per hour catching and $5.75 for stacking. Not great hours or pay for a man with a wife and 3 children but not too bad if you do both jobs.

The problem is not that we won't do the jobs, it is that we won't do the jobs as cheaply as an illegal. We have to pay taxes and insurance so we need to make more than them unless we lower our standards of living to the point that we live in the same poverty they are running from.

With out the illegal labor all of these jobs would still get done, there are plenty of americans who would do them, but then the companies would have to accept lower profits because they would have to pay fairly.

Here in Australia, there is a rubbish recycling / disposal plant where i worked for 1 day along time ago - sorting recycled stuff from normal rubbish.

There were alot of migrants working there - and while it was not my cup of tea, it was easy money. There are jobs that migrants will do that ordinary people wont do. Ie at harvest time, fruit picking jobs - which require long hours during harvest season for low paid wages.

I have seen both sides of the coin on this debate. So until people are willing to get up and do these jobs and stop receiving welfare, then companies will ask governments to increase the quota on migrant workers.

There is no job that illegals should be used for It's against the law to hire illegals so in time the money you have made with them you will be paying in legal fees.Legal immigrants or USA citizens will do the work,The issue is that the employer wants to make more money for himself.The lower wages savings is not passed on to the consumer it put into the pockets of the employer.Along with no ins, & taxs.

in england it is not the case of jobs we wont do because of the type of work it is , it is because of the pay that is offered / wage that has been cut , the industry i am in payed higher wage 15 years ago thanks to mass immigration than it does today , a lot of industries in uk know adopt the practice of slashing wages to keep costs down and if you dont like it ? , i know an immigrant who will do it for less !, with the likes of council taxes and ever increasing utility bills and higher mortgage repayments due to mass shortage of housing due to influx of immigrants ( who have priority on cheap social housing) you know have to meet a certain level of wage , i personally know of many poles, hungarians etc.. who are willing to work for peanuts ( many breaking working hours laws ) they will send nearly all their money home to their families , slum it here for 3,4, years ( up to 12 sharing 2 bedroom house ) then return home , quite well off , without contributing to our economy , last year labour passed bill that tax from polish worker would be handed to poland as previously they were being " double-taxed " , i would love to do a job that i would enjoy waking up like working on a farm outdoors but not on the 4 p p h that your immigrant would do it for!

There are no jobs that Americans wont do. There are a lot of jobs Americans wont do for substandard wages which is why they hire illegals. Illegals are todays slave labor, although most are too stupid to realize it.
