Seattle, Wa Taxi rates?

Ok me and my friend are going to Seattle, Wa.....What kind of rates are we going to be looking at for Taxi's there?

    I would actually have to suggest using the public transit system as opposed to taxi's in Seattle. The bus, & commuter rail service can get you just about anywhere in the region quickly and at a great value.

    I'm not sure of the actual rates, and of course it depends on how far your are traveling, but if you are staying in the downtown area and only going to other downtown areas or Capitol Hill then I would say a trip will run you between $5 and $12. Also keep in mind it is a very walkable city and the buses are free in the core downtown area from 7 am to 7 pm. Have a great trip!

    The rental is the cheepest and safest. George is a very small isolated place and the Gorge is about 10 miles out of town and very isolated. You would not want to get stranded.
