People keep finding god in jail?

maybe your right but thay also leave god in jail when they get out.

Jail is a humbling experience, and inmates have a lot of time on their hands. They offer church services, and most inmates go just to get out of the cell block for a while. For some this is the first time. Then some ( maybe a lot) are touched by the word.

It would be only natural that one who found them self in prison to reflect , they are at one of the lowest points in there life and all they have is there mind and there faith and prison can take away the mind so all that is left is there is faith . Yes many who go to jail find their faith in prison and find forgiveness with God for what they had done. (forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us.)

OTOH I know a case where Court officals offered an "easier treatment" if the peson "found God"

When in jail, there is a lot of time to reflect!

It looks good for the parole board

Because they loose their pride and realize they only way to heaven is by receiving Jesus in your heart

Or maybe he is Big Bubba their cell mate.

with all what has been going on in this world that seems to be where he seems to be. doing time for making man i suppose.
