Both of my aunts were runners and ran throughout their pregnancy... of course as they got bigger it became a brisk walk. Just make sure you have lots of water and take frequent breaks to let your body cool down... I played softball last summer I was 3-5 months preggo throughout the season. Just drink lots of water!! Good Luck!

You cannot kill the baby from "bouncing" too much. The baby bounces around when you barely walk..... You can do whatever you want as long as you don't strain yourself or go into physical contact sports (soccer football etc) just keep hydrated and go at the pace you feel comfortable going.

Nooooo. Dont do this. Just cause your not heavy yet doesnt mean you can do it. This is the worst time to do anything like that. The bouncing can kill the baby.

I want to know how I got 3 thumbs down for telling the truth.

You know what go ahead and jog in 1 month you'll know I was right. I am pregnant just like you. My doctor told me not to jog. And Im not high risk. Its a no no being pregnant

Yes it is safe as long as you do not overdo it. Thats the same with any workout routine. If you are short on breath, stop immediately. You could be depriving the baby of oxygen.

if you have already been jogging before pregnancy then you can continue but you should not exert your body to the point that it is difficult to have a conversation while exercising.

My book said to when exercising you shouldn't get so out of breath that you can't carry on a conversation.

This is something you should ask your DR. We don't know about your health history.
