I consider a lot of traits important, Ivebeenabadbadgrl, but for most important I would have to go with intelligence.

Reliability!

Every girl I have dated starts out normal but eventually starts to exhibit erratic behavior.

They stop returning calls/emails!

Disappear for a day or two at a time.

I just want someone that is normal! Will do what they say they will do. Doesn't move forward and then run away.

Honesty!

Truth, honesty and a sense of humor. Watch how they treat family & friends. You can then see whay they are like. if they are consistent in their behavior, you have a great person.

Happiness. Someone who enjoys finding the joy and wonder in life, and isn't waiting around for the perfect job / relationship / man / whatever to do it for him or her.
