My 6 yr old son went to bed a few nights ago. About an hour later I went to check on him to see if was sleeping or playing. (he shares a room with a sibling). He wasn't doing either. He was laying on his bed with his head at the foot of the bed and his feet at the head. He was just staring around his room. I said, "Sebastian, what are you doing?" He said, "Mom, my stomach is empty, and my mind is full, I can't go to sleep when I'm like this."

My jaw dropped and I was just dumbfounded. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment.

We go out on the bus a lot and the first time he said "That was quite an adventure" took us by surprise..he was a little over 2 1/2 at the time. SOOO cute!!!

He actually says a lot of cute things, but that one is memorable.

My 5 year old always says the funniest things, but his latest was when we brought his only little sister home from the hospital a few weeks ago. He was watching her every little moment and watched me when Changed her pamper she had had a BM. he asked

"Why does sister's butt crack go all the way up the front?"

I tried to assure him girls and boys are made differently and that was her "toot toot" not her butt crack, but because babies tend to BM up the front and back he didn't believe me..lol Maybe he will stay away from girls for a long while. lol

When my son was about 3, he was having a smaall problem sounding out some of his sounds for words. The word that stood out was the way he would say the word "fish". Unfortinately it would come out sounding like he was saying "sh*t". One day we went to my sister's job where they were having a craft for the kids to do. It was making paper plate fish. Right in the middle of his craft making, he had a sudden bout of diarreah. My mom and I took him to the bathroom to clean him up while my sister cleaned up the floor. When we were finished, we walked back to the area where they were doing their craft. His fish was moved from teh table onto the counter. Not knowing this, he said, in a not so quiet voice, "Hey, where's my fish (sh*t)?!"

My 2 year old girl loves watching the Disney princess movies, especially Cinderella. Always at the end of the movie, the princess and the prince kiss each other. One time, my husband and I caught our daughter kissing the prince on the television. Another time, I was watching a romantic (PG) movie and she came right up to me, grabbed my face, turned it towards hers and smacked a big smooch on my lips! I nearly died with laughter. I think she'll end up an actress.

Well, This isn't something she said, but what she did! She was about 4 at the time(now 7). But she and I had simalar prints on our underware. She had gotten ahold of mine which happend to be a thong. She came into the bathroom when I was in the shower and asked me to help her get her underware on. She said she kept putting the on the wrong way. When I saw what she was talking about, I noticed she had my thong on backwards....lol I about died laughing.
