Was Bengie Molina of the SF Giants an all star snub?

I have been watching Bengie Molina hit about .400 with 2 strikes and runners in scoring position all season...I think Bengie should have been the reserve cather instead of Brian Mccann...your thoughts...

only giants fans like us and hardcore baseball fans would know about molina's clutchness. he is probably the most clutch hitting catcher in the NL. russell martin has great #s and he deserves to go, but bengie should at least be a reserve. mccann had a great year last year, but he is sucking this year. but its the fans votes that counts. so it really sucks for bengie who has been a great hitter and a great game caller thus far.

Snub? Bengie is having such a stellar season that this is the first I have heard of his being on the Jints. Of course, I haven't heard of this McCann fellow either. It hasn't been the same for me since the 1994 World NonSeries.
