Considering the world today, I think they may call this "The Selfish and Destructive Era". It's all about ME seems to pervade people's thinking these days. Or, if hopeful...maybe "The Communication Era" Those new things have changed the world significantly. (Computers, Internet, systems, equp. etc)

The word's "centenarian" but you can say stuff like:
"Lady celebrates her Centenary"
or
"Town welcomes Centennial Denizen". Good luck!

she isn't going to care what you call her. turn it around and call the century her name. i think that we should be naming hurricanes and new towns after these people who have lived for so long. I'm inspired and in awe when I'm honored to be in their presence.
