If you added all the numbers up on a roulette table it equals 666.?

If you added 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 etc...on the roulette game it would equal 666.

Why did the inventor stop at 36 to end at 666

as his total?

The legend says that back in the 17th century, the creator of Rouletee, a famous mathematician Blaise Pascal from France made a deal with the devil in order to get the game.

...Pascal's version of roulette was a fair game, with no house edge, as the wheel did not contain a zero or the double zero. The zero, which increased the house odds of winning, was added later in 1842 by two Frenchmen, François and Louis Blanc. Come to think of it, they are the ones that probably made a deal with the devil and not Blaise Pascal.

The legend is based on the fact that if you add up all the numbers on the roulette wheel (from 1 to 36), the resulting total is "666", which is the "Number of the Beast."

The number 666 actually refers to nothing more or less than MONEY. Perhaps that is why the inventor used the numbers adding up to "666"--the roulette wheel is all about money. It is hard to know since we cannot ask the inventor his intentions.

The inventor of ROULETTE is supposedly a European monk named Blaise Pascal.

Wow! That's why I have trouble passing that table. I've always played the green numbers 0 and 00, which do not enter into the equation, thank goodness. I usually lose, but now I have an excuse: The devil made me do it!

Roulette is dumb. I always lose there. Craps and blackjack are where its at. Oh, and in American casinos, there are 38 pockets. so here it adds up to 37 more. EDIT: Yeah, you're right. no wonder i always lose at roulette. what a dumb game.

Oh, this is as much fun as believing I should get married today for the good luck of 777. All that math is obviously just another evolutionist ploy. But wait, that six thing...isn't that some kind of sign or something?

    Excellent!

How fitting, that the wheel goes round and round, just like theist attempts at logic.
