jesus(pronounced yesu not ji jus) is greek name for yeshua(hebrew). yes jesus was jew. most of western name like joshua, paul(paulos),federer, pedro(petrus,gepha), john(yohanese),stephano, stephan etc all are from christianity. all of your common american name such as jordan(yordan), john(yohan) are all from jews names as it is from the bible.

Jesus is his real name he was a Palestinian.I try to live by his words. not so much the old testament. but what Jesus taught about love and peace.and having the spirit of God within me.and doing Gods will.
