Chrysler/Jeep people?

I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. It has the fender mounted turn signals. The ones right in front of the front doors. The people I have talked to so far have only been able to come up with that this is an Austrailan/European package. Now my problem is I cannot for the life of me get the bulbs to replace these. I have talked to several people and parts stores only to find out there unavailable or whatever. Someone out there has got to know the part number as it is not on the bulb. The only numbers on the bulb are 12v23a which after 20 years in the industry I completely know what that means and it doesnt help at all. Thanks in advance..........Chris

Good one! Just went thru Chrysler's StarParts, where us parts guys work all day, found nothing. Try www.bulbs.com

Did some light looking around, found nothing. There is a "contact us" link. Send 'em a message and see if they can do something for you.Good luck!

Source(s): Chrysler parts guy, 35 years. Stumped me on this..did you try a place that might specialize in Imports?

It is true that it is a European package (its the law they have to have them over there). If you have the owners manual you can take a look in there. As far as the bulb it could be european and not made in the US. try to take the bulb to an autoparts store and see if you can match it by eye.

I'd suggest getting ahold of an industrial supply or electronic supply catalog, and making a comparison of the pictures of the bulbs, then matching the ratings.

Is this a cartridge lamp? Or like the 3157 series?
