white people are too ashamed to believe in your story lol... they are also too ashamed and say black people exaggerate racism which ain't true... they say we are the most racist but we did not kill 6 million Jews and millions of disabled and non blue eyed people.... they call Muslims evil but really nobody has done evil as them.... they slaved blacks and only just over 30 years ago they short Martin Luther king and we had to stand on busses....

Your last statement certainly is true. Just ask any Native American. I'm pretty sure they really didn't want to sell off Manhattan Island for a handful of beads and some cheap-*** trade blankets. I'm also pretty sure that, given the choice, Africans would most definitely NOT have chosen to be shipped over the Atlantic packed 300 to a ship-hold in inhuman conditions to be sold into slavery. If I were there, I might have responded like this: "Well maybe if your poor f***in' redneck cracker-*** family hadn't abducted Africans to do work they were too g**damn fat and lazy to do themselves, then Africans wouldn't be here, inbred trailer trash Klan motherf***er!!" I take it that you are black, well I'm white. I dosn't mater if a person is black, white, red, yellow, or a little green person from Mars, you are a human being, except the for Martian, he's from Mars. You have as much right to be here as I have. People should remember that the North American Natives (Indians) were here before white people or black people ever stepped on this soil.

In a perfect world, people should be allowed to go anywhere they want, hassle free. But this isn't a perfect world and I don't think it ever will be. In order for it to be close, we are all going to have to take responsibility for our races actions...which means white people must reprimand their own peers for disrespecting their entire race by acting like f*cking morons - as well as the black race doing the same. I'm sorry, but Jewel has a point - we whites know better than to go into black areas because we might not even get out ALIVE, much less the slurs and insults. It comes from both sides, so we all need to do something within our own cultures. In the meantime, as ugly as it sounds, stay on your own side of the tracks...idiots are everywhere, so dont go looking for it.

I agree with what you are saying. I never had to put up with it though. However, white people aren't the only ones in this.

I am black myself (Not american though) but I have to say that black people are HIGHLY racist too. Back in school, black people would talk pure trash about white people at times in the classrooms, asking the teachers questions like "Why do white people do such and such", "Why do white people smell like wet dogs", "Why do white people act so corny"? You know, off the wall questions like that in front of the white people that were in the class.........All I could do was shake my head.

The white people didn't say anything when the black people were talking about them, but if ever a white person said something about a black, he or she would get jumped. That's not right.

School is not the only place I've seen this happen either. It's on tv real bad. Black people put down white people all the time on tv. You can't help but see it.

You have to look at both sides here. Alot of black people do bring alot of those bad labels on themselves, but it's not right to be a racist against anyone. Saying things like "*igger" and "go back to africa" is totally uncalled for.

I've always been middle ground. Not because I am mixed race but because I see both sides of the story and I see that neither one of the parties are innocent in this.

And I think we should all go back where we came from. If you are of mixed descent you have to be cut into appropriate pieces and sent back to your respected motherlands... This is how stupid these people are.

there will always be racists in the world, and the worst thing a person can do is hold an eternal grudge and be racist back. u did the right thing by not letting them get to you and preventing other things that couldve happened.

Good point! They're just ignorant. I hear that idiotic "Go back to Africa" and I wonder if they are at all acquainted with two things called history and slavery. Like all African-Americans came here of their own free will. I hate that kind of ignorance.

You know you are right that is nasty and uncalled for, but when I lived in a larger city i had friends all over and when I went into a predominatly black hood, i would get to hear that all the time except it would be talking shi/t because I was white, I get your point but stupidity cares less what color you are.

My best guess is that they were young men trying to show off to each other and look tough.

But, as I'm sure you know, when young black men are in a group, they most assuredly lip off to whites, too, for the exact same reasons.
