I work in a nursing home and I want to know can I transfer to a hospital in another state?
***the hospital's website has a form that you can fill out to be transferred to them, but I'm not sure if that's for someone that already works at a similar company.
Yes, I'm a CNA. Should I talk to an HR person at the job I'm currently at or at the place I want to transfer to?

It depends on what you do for your jobs, are you certified in something? For example if you are a CNA you would need to retest in the state you want to move to but as long as you can pass the test it should be no problem.
If you aren't certified you should have no problem transferring. Talk to someone in HR and they should be able to help you.

Transfers usually do not work between two separate companies unless they are owned by the same corporation.
