Why is it we can take away stars, but not change thumbs up/thumbs down in Y! Answers?

Seems odd to this here Dalek that we can decide a question maybe ISN'T so interesting after all, but we're gonna stay pretty firm on whether an answer (which can be edited and changed) is great or lousy indefinitely. And every so often my mouse gets askew and I hit the wrong thumby-thingy by accident....

And I don't even HAVE thumbs!!

boo hoo hoo........

    I know ... what's up with that!?!

The hand just twitches ever so slightly and the answer that made me laugh out loud gets a thumbs down instead of a thumbs up ...

And then, it's like ... what am I supposed to do? Say I'm sorry? Mention it as an accident in my answer? Try to cancel it out by going to another question that they've answered and give THAT answer a thumbs up?

Or do I have to create yet another alter-ego and make him horrifically evil and blame it on him?

Then, I have to stage a knock-down, drag-out deathmatch on top of a skyscraper during a thunderstorm where, despite the fact that it seems I have no chance at winning, I somehow manage to summon up a quick flashback of my kung-fu teacher talking about butterflies or plants or something ... (I don't know, I wasn't paying attention) that gives me enough inspiration to unlock a hidden strength which allows me to suddenly defeat my 'arch-nemesis' and toss him off the building to his death, despite the fact that he was an inanimate dummy made from mattress stuffing, dental floss and a baked potato ...

    Source(s): P.S. Thumbs-Up for everybody ...!!!

I think it's time for all you Daleks to gang up on Davros and take him out---yet again.

I hear he's sitting in the little Y!A contol room, eating some glazed metallic crumpets. Worthless old whiny bag of pixelized wind, that Davros . . .

Oh, and you can also go ahead (post-Davros zapping) and stare into the camera, yelling: "We Daleks shall conquer Antarctica. Exterminate. . . exterminate .. . EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE!" This time it won't be a slight case of cybernetic overacting. As a matter of fact, it will be fully justified.

it is not suitable if somebody delivers a thumbs up or thumbs down. yet whilst somebody delivers a thumbs up you get a element and in the event that they provide you a thumbs down no longer something happens.

I think they should have a middle finger option next to the thumbs up/down option :)

    Been wondering the same thing . . . .

You know, my friend's band says, "You'd hurt yourself without your thumbs." You must be pretty banged up.
