Hillary Clinton asked how the US plans to withdraw from Iraq.?

The pentagon has rebuked her saying that this propoganda feeds into the enemies hands, saying it allows fears that the US will abandon Iraq as the perception has been concerning Vietnam, Somalia & Lebanon. Do you think that in times of war our Congressional representatives should refrain from statments such as these?

There was no reason to do it aloud other than for the public reaction. She's on the defense commity, for goodness sake. She's telling our enemies we are withdrawing and when?

This should have been a private matter, and she's grandstanding at our expense.

It's traitorous. I've never used that with her before. I've been respectful of our Former First Lady and Senator, and will otherwise continue to do so.

But this act was traitorous and her attempt to make it even more public will be more so.

After this and the statement making clear she is a socialist not just at heart but in policy, her career is over.

I warned people in my party. Get away from the socialism. It's going to cost us.

Being from Canada I can't really comment on whether or not they should refrain from such comments. My question would be, citizen first, or public servant first? If she is a citizen first, she as anyone else has a right to an opinion. If she is a public servant first then maybe she would have to bite her tongue as she represents a country (or a chunk of the country).

I believe the pentagon was correct in its comments. I would sure like to know how Shillery or Obumma plan to get our military out of this true quagmire if they are elected. Neither one has yet revealed one single detail of their glorious scuttle home in shame plan. If they don't have a plan they are willing to discuss, they should not be throwing rocks at the people who have to have a

    plan, however bad it is.

Lets look at the outcome of Vietnam. At the end of the war we pulled out. How much backlash was there. The people of the U.S. were happy, and things returned to normal shortly there after. Is it reasonable to assume the same if we were to pull out of Iraq?
