The trick is to ignore people, like the comment above. I enlisted about 2 years ago in the US Army, and coming from California, the bay area specifically, you can imagine the reactions. I've heard some things said to me, makes it hard to maintain your bearing at times. But, I've also been thanked, and supported by the same community as well.

I'd do my job the same either way, whether everyone was for or against me, I enlisted because I felt it was right, not because of the president, or a war, or anything else. So, to finally answer your question.. Yes, I realize how many people say those things. And they have their right to, and I wouldn't dream of keeping them from it. I swore to defend and uphold the constitution of the United States, and the rights it guarantees.. and that includes free speach, and the right of every guy and gal out there to abuse it and say whatever hateful, ignorant load of junk they want. i've got not had any questions deleted yet. yet I even have had 2 solutions deleted. the 1st answer became deleted because of the fact I stated as a guy a chauvinistic pig for announcing he became happy there have been no female airline pilots, and that he may be scared if he became on a airplane and found out the pilot became a female.
