Why do people think Walter Jones is the best LT in football?
watch 2:40-2:45 of this video to see proof that he's overrated.

Sackmaster Leonard Little owns Walter "Cant pass block for sh*t" Jones.
Well, Bambi beat Godzilla? Im not pointing out who won the game, even though the Rams outplayed the Seahags in both games even though we had two dumb penalties hold us down, we really actually should of won.
Kris- Little isnt on the sack? He ran past the slow footed lug and sacked that bald egg headed loser.

Right division, wrong team. The best LT in football is former #1 overall pick and future Hall of Famer Orlando Pace.

Well it's apparent that your a biased Rams fan, but you can't judge a player just by one game, or even one play for that matter as your trying to do. Even the best get beat at one point or another during a season, it's a matter of how often do you get beat. He's one of the best because he's been a consistent Pro Bowler, an All Pro member, and very rarely makes mistakes. Although it's hard to judge the best because a different tackle plays the best with every different season. As far as consistency, Walter jones ranks up their with Johnathon Ogden and Willie Roaf as some of the best LTs in recent years.
Also, a little side note, how many pro bowls has Leonard Little been to? 2 out of a 9 year career. How many double digit seasons has he posted? 3 out of 9...very impressive for the "Sackmaster". He is good, but not even close compared to guys like Dwight Freeney or Jason Taylor. Freeney has played 5 seasons and has had double digits 4 times, while Taylor has done it 7 times in 11 years. I think he has a little more work to do before you give him so much credit, and one play as you shown doesn't justify that, or maybe you better look at the ENTIRE game footage of all Rams-Seahawks games, and see who dominates the other more often.

Maybe it has something to do with the numbers that Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander put up over the years.
EVERY O and D player has at least one opponent that gives them difficulty. It's being able to handle the majority of them that gets one to the Pro Bowl and possibly a SB.
JI'm sure even 5 time Pro-Bowl LT, Tony Boselli had at least one DLineman or OLB that gave him problems.
As for that ONE play that you point to to denigrate Jones's ability; it looked more like that when Jones went to block Little, Jones was hampered from behind by Deion Branch and that's what prevented Jones from making the block.
It looked more like Branch lined up wrong and or started to run the wrong route and ended up behind and slightly on the left side of Jones when he went to make the block on Little and that's what allowed Little to seemingly blow past him.
Most of those plays Little was lined up outside or on a delayed blitz so he already had the advantage.
Add to that an occasional double team to try to get ONE man past Jones; I don't see what you're so hyped about.
And fyi, I didn't see ANY play on that video that Little actually beat Walter Jones.
And don't forget, Seattle won both games.
So if there's a question of someone being overated; maybe you should consider Leonard Little?

Wait a second. First, "people" don't think Walter Jones is "the best LT in football". However, he is a "premier" left tackle, which means he's easily in the top five.
Secondly, why should I watch one single play from some little video and base judgment on that alone?
You've got a lot to learn.

Amazing that such a front row fan for a team(Rams) that has not made the playoffs in a few years has the audacity to criticize a perenial All-Pro Player. I would say based on most expert opinions( NFL coaching staffs) and NFL players who have lined up against him, that he has been voted / rated most times than not, the top tackle in the league. Little is a good player, not a consistent All-pro player to brag about.

So because he got beat on 1 play he's overrated?
Watch the video again, Little isn't even in on the sack. BTW, Kurt Warner was a VERY immobile quarterback.
Also, what about the rest of that game, and every other game he's played?
At least you're not a bias Rams' fan.
^^^^ sarcasm ^^^^
EDIT: He ran by him, and then Warner was taken down by another player.

Only because today's LTs suck compared to the likes of Larry Allen during his prime.

Everyone in Buckeye nation knows it is your boy OP, so everyone doesn't think he is the best LT in the game.
