why is men's semen sticky?

Protein, semen, sperm. The color is the way God made it. He could have made it any color but that is what it is.

The sticky is so it will stick to the inside of the vagina and a sperm can crawl and make you pregnant

In the animal kingdom there are two kinds of semen, hard plug and soft plug. Humans have soft plug semen. It congeals into a sticky gel to hold it in place near the cervix and to prevent anyone elses sperm from getting to the cervix.

Incidentally that's also why the human penis has a mushroom head, it act as a kind of scoop to remove any semen that get there before it did.

It says on the wiki that it may even be gray or yellowish. It is composed of several things contributed by several glands from the guy. It contains sperms - the male cell for fertilization. Several of the fluids there are for the longevity of the sperm outside the male body or for the preservation and increased motility (movement) of the sperm inside the female body.

I also seen from some site before that it contains about 5 calories, high protein and minimal fat. (Still not fit for consumption. LOL) d:

Mr. Sanchez is wrong. The semen isn't white because of the sperm cells swimming in it. Its because of the other fluids in the semen.

It is made in a man's testicles and is loaded with sperm. This is the male reproductive product. That's what makes it milky white--all the sperm 'swimming' in it. I don't know why it is sticky.

its a few things that make up semen it come from a couple of places on a guys body. full of protein so dont spit-(that was a joke)

most of it is not sperm but the fluid that the sperm swim about in. it's sticky so that it all holds together - the sperm have a better chance of reaching the egg when they gloop together en masse.

So when it's shot up it doesn't come back down and so it stays together and not all over inside.
