i would go along with some previous answers as to how they stated in nice clean makeup and hair, accessories and whatnot... but another thing that can make a big difference in the way you look, making the uniform look more stylish is getting them altered to fit you correctly. most clothes in that range and for that age range usually are very boxy.. taking them to an alteration place. dont alter everything but have a few key pieces altered and depending on the price you can decide if you want to alter more or not. also remember to keep it clean and simple.. most people will try and think of how to be original by overdoing their makeup and things and just look at others and add in and mix thier ideas and make it your own. also see how short your sleeves can actually be because when you get your shirts altered you might want to think about doing short cap sleeves to maybe even a sleeveless polo shirt for a different look that might actually be able to be pulled off. make sure if you have any ideas to ask a faculty member because you dont want to have to be sent home to change or wear your PE uniform all day because you violated dress code.

Actually, this year may be easier than you imagine. Many schools have found that having the uniform dress code forces students to be more creative in other ways. You will distinguish yourself with your ideas that you yourself came up with, rather than the designer clothes that your parents bought for you.
There has been way too much emphasis on designer labels, wild clothing, etc. and many families cannot afford to spend hundreds of dollars on clothing just so that their impressionable child doesn't feel left out when they don't have the right designer name on their clothes.
You can always dress above the standards. Make sure the pants/skirts, shirt/blouse, whatever is clean, pressed, and always kept neat. If you are running for president, look the part. Stay professional. Treat others well, and make sure you demonstrate in insight into both the subject material and the problems faced by the class. Understand why there is a dress code (it was not just to stiffle you, there are very good reasons for them), and what went in to forming them.

Accessorize: hair style, scarves, belts, shoes, stylish socks. Make sure to have shirts with a straight hem because, as you know, tucking in a shirt looks like crap.
Contrary to another's suggestion, do not wear only blue and red. Bad idea. I think you'll wear much more khaki than navy for pants and skirts.

Ouch...tough situation, especially with the no jewellery thing.
All I can say is if you are allowed to buy from sources outside the school, find styles that you like and will be unique, even if in the tiniest way. Sure everyone will be wearing polos, but maybe yours have cute buttons or something...? Keep the rest of your appearance (hair, makeup) neat and tidy for that classic but beautiful look.
Make sure the sizes you buy are absolutely correct and that you are totally comfortable in the clothes. Confidence will make you stand out in the crowd!

at a school like that, the only thing you can show off is your shoes, jacket, and hair, and shirt. You can always wear a tank top on top of your polo, if they allow it. You can wear some Jordans or other cute shoes. Wear your hair differently everyday, so that way you can stand out a little more. If your allowed to wear make-up a new eyeshadow can make your eyes pop.

get a cool bag or other not banned stuff that would stand out... and well stand out more by excelling in class and being friendly to others... try not to super promote your angst against your unified dress code... actually it could make you look really good you know in uniformity only those who 'have it' would really have it! there is more to school life my dear than mear uniform, trust me when you are out in college, even in the 'real world' the fondest memories would be those of your school days even with uniform...
actually i can imagine your uniform we a navy blue skirt and a white blouse too, we have our school seal in our blouse pocket... and they boys to are with their khakis...

Just go with navy and red. Navy pants/skirt with a red top, be simple.
