What is your favorite mixed drink, cocktail or alcohol recipe?

Mai Tai Gold...makes you feel like you're in Tahiti! MMM!

Ingredients:

1 ounce Meyer's Dark Rum

1 ounce Bacardi Gold Rum

½ ounce Bols Banana Liqueur

½ ounce fresh lime juice

2 ounces fresh orange juice

1 ounce pineapple juice

½ ounce grenadine

Mixing Instructions:

Prepare a beverage glass half filled with ice, and pour in the grenadine.

Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice.

Shake well until blended and chilled.

Strain into the glass, and garnish with orange twists.

Or one of my favorites.. A Hurricane. You have to watch out though, because these things will f*ck you up fast.

1 oz vodka

1/4 oz grenadine syrup

1 oz gin

1 oz light rum

1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum

1 oz amaretto almond liqueur

1 oz triple sec

grapefruit juice

pineapple juice

Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve.

Geez, why the thumbs down? I was a bartender for 10 yrs and these are some good drinks! What a bunch of meanies!

I am no longer big into mixed drinks....I am a Johnny Walker Black on the rocks fan.

but when I was some stuff I liked Alabama Slammer: Amaretto, Sloe Gin, Vodka, OJ and lime juice if I rememebr right

I also liked shots of Screaming Nazis; Rumplemintz and Jaeger

I am currently hooked on chocolate- hazelnut "martinis". I use Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur, Frangelico, and Vodka. Mix over ice, swirl and strain into the glass. Play around with the ratio until you get the taste that you like the best.

Use a really pretty glass to make it special. I have these great martini glasses with a red swirl around them.

I love cosmos! :) Best recipe I've found is: 2 parts Vodka, 1 part Cointreau and 1 part Cranberry Juice. Shake it all up with some ice and pour. Yummm!

You can always go for the regular Malibu and Pineapple juice or orange juice, this is a great blend. Or if you like sweet Jolly Ranchers go with a Green Apple Smirnoff mix with Cran-Apple juice. Or you can have a Watermelon Pucker with plain Vodka thats always my choice =0)

Fill a shot glass with almond ameretto; fill a mug with beer; drop the shot glass into the beer before you gulp it down; done right, it tastes a lot like a Dr. Pepper.

I really hate the taste of alcohol, but to my amazement, I love Long Island iced teas. It contains all the clear alcohols combined, mixed with coke. I really don't taste the alcohol very strong, but boy, try to walk after one of those puppies.

I personally like ether a Manhatten or a black russian, both are very tastey. Plus they have one heck ofa kick,also my all time fav is the BRASS MONKEY way to good, take care & def get a designated driver for a night out.

I make one I call a super stinger its made with one shot of 151 Rum and one shot of Rumple Mintz over ice and stirred. It is in my mind the best sipping drink I have ever concocted.

i love them too. i had a real nice cocktail at a restaurant but i cant remember all the ingrediants...but it did have cranberry, passionfruit, lime, orange vodka in it mmmm it was soo good
