Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free.

I am now using PC-cillin Internet Security 2007. It seems to work just fine for me. You can get more info about this program here < http://us.trendmicro.com/us/products/personal/tren... >. If you would first like to try running this program from its online location, you can go here < http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ >. HouseCall will scan your computer using your choice of an ActiveX control or a Java Applet. These programs should be able to detect mostly any virus present on your computer. Oh, and please do not listen to some of the other answerers. They obviously know nothing of computers. PLEASE do not waste your time with Symantec or Norton.

Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm, trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com/

If I were you I would take my computer to someone to fix it. I had the same problem, my computer was overran with viruses, so I took it to Best Buy and Geek Squad completely fixed it and installed new (good) anti-virus software. i highly recommend them. The computer worked like new when they finished. Hope this helps!

Scan your system with the Free Version of SuperAntispyware found here : http://www.superantispyware.com/

Do a complete scan of your system. This could take up to an hour or more, let it do it's thing, and remove what it finds.
