Good Novels on Ancient Wars?

Im looking to get back into reading and the one book that has gotten my attention was "gates of fire" by Steven Pressfield which is about the battle of Thermoplye.

I was wondering if anyone knows about any other good novels about the ancient wars?

Thanks

It's not as ancient as that, but a fictionalized version of the events leading to the Battle of Sekigahara and the ascension of the Tokugawa Shoguns is nicely done by James Clavell in "Shogun." It is an excellent (and long!) read. Tokugawa becomes Toranaga and other names are changed as well.

Did you read the Odyssey and the Iliad?
