I am always throwing them away but the safegaurd soap goes way to fast and I wish I could use them for something? Anyone? Thanks

when i first moved in with my fiance i thought he was CRAZY for this, but now, i love to do it .....

put it on the shower floor. step on it, till its securely on the floor. then run ur feet over it. its an efficient way to clean your feet and feels good!

the only drawback is that if ur bathtub is kinda icky - ull have white spots from where u put the soap. - we make a game of those too ... and make designs! :o)

we usually just wet it a bit at the end of a bath and stick it onto a new bar. so, it dries up stuck to the new bar. make sure that its at the side of the soap you use so it gets used up first.

a friend does it differently. she hangs a cloth pouch with the soap leftovers over a frequently used sink. the soap gets soft so it passes through the cloth to your hand. she also said that she has sewn a wash cloth with the leftover soap. and uses it when she baths.

you can melt several on a double broiler and place it in a mold to make a new bar. or melt it some water and mix it in a blender to make liquid soap you can place in a dispenser though sometimes you get weird results with the different types of salt.

I stick them to the new bar of soap. It does sometimes break back off and goes on the shower floor and creates more of a mess at times. So maybe the best thing to do is to just throw it out.

Grab the new bar of soap, lather it up and press the old one on to it. If you are really good you can stick a piece of hair in between or some other thing that would be an unpleasant find in the middle of a bar of soap.

Hello Mackado, to answer your question...someone told me that if you have several small leftover sliver soaps, you can put them in a pot, let them melt, pour the soap mixture in a oval shaped small dish or a tray and let the mixture cool. Place the mixture in the refrigerator or freezer to get hard then you have created another bar of soap!

when the soap becomes too small to use, i take out a new soap and stick the little left over soap to the new one. then you have created a bigger soap. i just use the side with the little soap for subsequent showers. then the "bigger soap" will run out of the little side first, and it will become a normal soap again. and this cycle repeats so you never get a bundle of little pieces.

Collect them until you have enough to "melt down." Then, mix 50/50 with water, let them dissolve, and refill your liquid soap pumps.

Or, do what I used to do. Get the old sliver and the new bar both wet, and mold the old one onto the new one. They stick pretty easy just by mashing them together.

I usually take the thin one and squish it to the new bar of soap when it's wet.

you can actually melt them down in a double boiler and reshape them into another bar. Make sure you don't use the pot for food again until thoroughly cleaned

get a small bag and put the bars in it you can use it to wash your hands until gone or put them in a mesh bag and hang them in your closet or drawers if they have a nice aroma
