What's the craziest/strangest thing you've ever eaten? Where? Why? Would you eat it again?

Update:

Interesting answers people....keep em coming!

Update 2:

Holy crap - someone actually tried DOG before? I definitely couldn't do that one.

all those answers above me, the only one i have not had is sea slug. dog is fine, monkey is fine. bobcat is fine, so i guess any kind of cat would be okay. had a little problem with possum. rocky mountain oysters are great. only thing i will not eat again is bear meat. had it three different times, always way too greasy. do not really like mutton either, best thing about lamb is the mint jelly, so guess i would not eat a sheep again unless i had to to survive.

my friends and i alway got a kick out of those fear factor shows that had people eating things that we had all eaten several times. everything is good, it just depends on where you were raised or are living now

I lived in Hawaii as a kid, and went to a Japanese movie theater with a Japanese American classmate to see Mothra (a Japanese sci-fi movie about little island princesses guarded by a giant moth). The theater served fried grasshoppers and grub worms instead of popcorn. It was actually pretty good.

I have also eaten armadillo and rattlesnake in chili at a cook-off, and squirrel on a camp out, and alligator tail at a restaurant. All of them really did taste like chicken.

I have eaten sea slugs and sea cucumbers and weird other stuff, also in Hawaii,

I wouldn't eat any of them again because I no longer eat meat.

Monkfish liver the "foie gras of the sea". I prepared and ate it for my experimental foods class in culinary school. It was an Iron Chef kind of thing where you didn't know what you were cooking until that morning.

I don't like fish to begin with and the liver was a whole new level of gross. So, no I would never eat it again.

This is really stupid and may not even count since I was a small child when I did it, but I use to eat chicken feed when my mother was not watching!! I know you are saying YUCK!!! Really it just tasted salty. I still remember it. We had chickens and I would help her feed them and eat a little on the side. I know, I know .......STUPID!

i've had monkey, grubs, chicken feet, kidney on the grill, porcipine, lots of bush meat...i can't even think what else. I live in central africa (gabon), and would eat some of it again if i needed to, but not kidney. the rest, when you are hungry and that is all there is, you eat it!!
