    The reason you are getting two different answers is because you are really asking two different questions. The answer to either one depends upon the jurisdiction, which you do not identify.

    Question 1. How long can a felony DUI affect your driver's license? As I understand it, in most jurisdictions, 10 years.

    Question 2: How long will a felony DUI stay on your criminal record? In most jurisdictions, forever.

    If you're not a minor, then the DUI will remain on your record forever.

    It will forever be on your record. the points will only be used against you for two years.
