An electic water pump at 4 gallon per minute, 50 PSI.(normal house pressure) ?

I can find the GPM for the Lowes and Home Depot products, but the listings for the electric water pumps do not also list PSI. These products will list the water height? What water height is equivilent to 50 PSI may be my alternative question?

its not the gallons per minute that you should be worried about if you get 50 psi that is enough pressure for a house.

OK are you supplying water for 50 PSI the you don't want a what is called a trash pump or a sump pump that just gets it moving you need a positive displacement pump. The height thing you are talking about is called head pressure. and that means how much power does it need to lift it say 10 feet. If you just want a sump pump then measure how high the wall is that it has to go up to get outside and look at the head pressure rating on the pump it should say up to 10 feet 50 psi, 25 15psi. This should help. If not let me know and I'll run by lowes and give me the model number. Or see if there is actually someone at lowes that knows pumps...

    Water Pump Psi

the PSI depends on the pressure switch not the pump the pump just gets the water out of the ground the pressure switch and pressure tank determine the pressure coming into the home. I hope this helps. Just replace your pump with what you had I mean 1/2 or 3/4 horse power and 2 or 3 wires

It is true that you probably will not find a water pump at a big box store to do what you are asking.

To answer your question, though, To change feet to pounds per square inch (PSI) multiply number feet by 0.433.

A positive displacement pump is not necessary to deliver 50 psi at any rage. Centrifugal pumps can deliver thousands of gallons per minute at pressures much greater than 50 psi.

With a centrifugal pump you might need to consider what is called net head. If the supply to the pump is at some pressure, that pressure can be added to the additional pressure created within the pump. If the pump is taking suction, that is lifting water to the pump, the suction head must be subtracted to the pressure created within the pump.

The pump information is describe highest level of operation of pump after that level you do not have pressure and pump will not operate. To insure your pressure you must install a pressure switch valve (adjust 40to50 Psi).So that mean water after pressure valve are 50 psi out going .

Is the PSI not the pressure..........

Sounds like the bladder in the air tank has ruptured. XX
