Only God knows about future. But when you look at the fights, wars, terrorism, lust of power, and greed.... it seems like mankind have to think about something now!!!

"Mankind must put an end to war, or war will put an end to mankind."

I don't remember whose quote it is, but this is the reality!

We're heading to a spiritual uplifting.

Those clinging to material wealth and selfish physical demands will feel a negative tugging since they will not be in true alignment with the essence of pure intentions and thoughts.

So, it depends on which side you are on in this present moment. If your feeling that tug, then you'll sense a doom approaching. If your letting the spiritual light come in to fulfill your wanting, then you'll feel good and uplifted about tomorrow.

This is the beginning, it will intensify each and every day, never to return back to primitive style spirituality ever again.

It's sad really to see so many people not feeling the joy of this occurence right now, but with prayers, these people are lessening.

Thank you for your utmost efforts spiritual leaders of the light!

I don't think we're heading anywhere. The forces of organized ignorance and systematic greed have shouted-down every intelligent man humanity has ever managed to produce. Humanity will survive only until it ultimately destroys itself. God cannot save us from ourselves because He is only a figment of our imaginations.

Edit: Good point, "Mirage" (below). You have correctly described the problem which will lead to the disaster I see as all but unavoidable. I do not share your optimism, however. You imagine the human population will be "adjusted" to sustainable levels. I imagine a "nuclear winter" of at least ten years duration and human civilization reduced to a radioactive scrap-heap. We will bomb ourselves back to the stone age and, if we're very lucky, one in a million will survive. Until then, a world filled with religious fools will argue endlessly about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Towards a large population boom. If our population keeps growing we will no longer be able to support ourselves, and we will fight over natural resources even more intensly. Eventually our numbers will be returned to their normal levels by war and famine, and the human race will be made stronger. This is the way it always plays out in nature.

The only way to prevent this is to reverse globalization, as it has almost negated our cultural boundaries, causing conflicts like 9/11 and the War in the Pacific, and allowing the resources in places like Africa to be transferred to a few extremely rich individuals. If communities were localized, no such exchange of materials would take place, and poverty would be greatly reduced...

I am an eternal optimist; that is, I believe the future is uncertain........
