Why is it that people are so bent on trying to prove God does not exist?

Well.. i can't understand this either. If i didn't believe in something, i wouldn't spend any of my energy asking stupid questions about that something.

I don't understand why this is such a difficult concept to grasp but I'll try once again. Nobody is trying to "prove god does not exist." We are simply saying that we have seen no evidence to convince us that he does exist. He may very well exist. But we see an abundance of evidence that suggests to us that there are other explanations for such things as the beginnings of the universe and the ascension of the species that are immensely more plausible than some god created them. Why is this so difficult to grasp? God may indeed exist. WE JUST DON'T THINK SO. Jeez.

Good question! I have also wondered this as well.

God is not going to force anyone to believe. its their choice. Others that have come to know God want to share it with others, because its a wonderful thing! Its like if i have discovered a diamond mine, wouldn't they want me to share it with them , or keep it to myself?

Atheists don't generally try to prove that god doesn't exist; they challenge believers to prove that god DOES exist.

It's logically impossible to prove that anything doesn't exist.

We are simply waiting for you to prove to us that he does. And for this we will be waiting a very long time...
