Phobia of Emus?

My one friend is terrified of emus... I was wondering what this phobia is called.

    Ornithophobia. That's the closest thing I could find because it is the fear of birds. Where the heck do you live where she constantly sees or is exposed to Emus?

    im terrified of emus and ostriches, due to an incident at a zoo in Kansas involving an emu. technically not a phobia though because i have reasoning, as silly as it may be

    terrified of Emus? that is seriously the wierdest fear i have heard for a while. Emus are animals that i think no one would see often, if at all.

    In Australia, this is not so unreasonable: they can rip you open with one kick, if attacked, or surprised/threatened. My girlfriend was alarmed when a "tame" one approached and pecked at her, and I have often seen them on surburban golf courses.
