decision on my cake cutting song! Help?

So my fiance and I have decided on two songs for our cake cutting

pour some sugar on me we would just have him run the chorus

or eat it by wierd al

which one would you do??

Thanks!!!

Update:

cutting into a cake doesnt take that long so the whole song is not going to get played!! As for some of you guys sometimes you need a little humor with your day!!

Update 2:

so the majority of you have never been to a wedding where the bride and groom cut into the cake and then smash or feed it to eachother because its pretty common in the new england area!!

My personal favorite is more classy... it's With a Wink and a Smile - the Harry Connick Jr. version. It sets such the perfect, old fashioned mood and the lyrics talk about how you go together :-)

Of course your songs work too it just depends on what kind of couple you are. If you plan to smash the cake into each other's faces you could always ask the DJ to start with something nice, then go right into Eat It when that happens or at whatever moment you choose so long as he/she can see it.

I like them both! I think if you can do both somehow that would be hellarious!

We walked out of our wedding to the Muppets Manna Manna song, and also found a sound bite of the two old men in the muppets balcony saying something like "Its finally over, gawd that was long and horendous, etc. etc." it was great!

We played all sorts of punky and '80's rock songs at our wedding and we had a great time, and even a dance off to an MC Hammer song!

I didn't realize that this was a needed song in a wedding...I wouldn't play either to be honest, but if I had to choose it would be the "Pour Some Sugar on Me"

I didn't know that they had cake eating songs at weddings now... Wild...

I would go with Def Lepard here - but you should play the whole song, not just the chorus over and over - that would drive people nuts.

Thats different. Weddings Ive been to just have the peole discretly cutting the cake while other things are going on....bouquet toss or whatever.

Pour some "sugar on me". "Eat it" would be amusing for the first few seconds but with the other one some people will get really into it.

Both are good but too many people have done Pour some Sugar on me... Eat it is funnier and more memorable.

Pour some sugar on me is what I want to do, so my vote goes there!

Both are pretty amusing though! Good luck!
