CHeck his food allergies. He is more than likely gluten intolerant. Go to the website below and stick to the diet. (left side of home page to click) Clean out his colon and then put him on GABA.

ADD is very much a metabolic problem, mostly caused by diet and other artificial stimulants such as caffeine. cigarettes, pot and other drugs will cause ADD symptoms in adults.

Take a look at his diet, what is he eating and what his body not getting that it needs to function properly.

He needs to stop ALL caffeine... coffee, sodas, energy drinks, pain meds with caffeine, sugary snacks. Caffeine attacks the adrenal glands which is responsible for all body functions including brain function.

He needs to eat a healthy diet where 70% of his calories comes from a wide variety of highly colorful fruits and vegetables. Add high quality protiens, whole grains and nuts.

When his body has created this blue print of eating good healthy food, it will start to balance and his concentration will increase as brain function is restored.

Try your local social services agency for the money part and your health department for the medical advice and medicine. Your son might have to go himself but you can try it by yourself.

Try a Yahoo search for adhd (OR "attention deficit hyperactivity disorder") + "natural remedies".
