Has anyone watch Superman: The Red Son Comic?
Its a very interesting Comic. It takes place in a paralele universe where Superman's ship crashed in the communist Russia rather than the US. He becomes a soldier of the Communist Russia and, eventually, its Dictator.
The end was amazing, SPOILERS: It turns out that Krypton is really the future earth and that the Luthor family became the L family; according to the comic, Superman is really Lex Luthors descendent from that alternative universe.

Superman: Red Son is a comic book published by DC Comics that was released under their Elseworlds imprint in April, 2003. Author Mark Millar created the comic with the premise "what if Superman had been raised in the Soviet Union?" It received critical acclaim and was nominated for the 2004 Eisner Award for best limited series.
I tend to like the Elseworld tales - gives a different, but familiar twist on the characters. Others I would recommend:
The Dark Knight Returns (1986) - Recently retconned as an Elseworlds title; it portrays Batman in a future time and setting that is not canonical, and has appearances from several other DC characters, including Superman.
Batman: Holy Terror (1991) - The first book to carry the Elseworlds logo and the second officially-published Elseworlds book. Reverend Bruce Wayne becomes Batman to fight corruption in a theocratic world.
Batman: In Darkest Knight (1994) - Bruce Wayne becomes a Green Lantern.
Batman: Nevermore (2003) - Batman teams with then-newspaper reporter Edgar Allan Poe to solve a series of raven-themed murders.
Superman: Speeding Bullets (1993) - Superman is raised by the Waynes and becomes a superpowered version of Batman.Superman's Metropolis

Green Lantern: 1001 Emerald Nights (2001) - A Green Lantern story in classical Arabic setting.

Superman Annual #6 - "The Feral Man of Steel" - In 19th century India, Kal-El is raised by wolves. Loosely based on Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories

Read it. Honestly I think the "No Man's Land" series which bridged all the heroes comics.
