how long is too long?
i have a 7 month old and she will not sleep at night she wants to have company, my entire family says she is spoiled, that if we let her cry she will eventually she will cry herself to sleep. after the 2nd or 3rd night she will sleep threw the night. when we put her to bed she will cry literally for 3 hours, that is the longest we could take it and we never get to the point where she will "cry her self to sleep"

Take her to bed wtih you until she goes to sleep and then take her to the crib. If she wakes up, get her and rock her back to sleep, then put her back in the crib. It make take a while but eventually she will start sleeping through the night. You will get tired because of waking up so much but it really seems awful to me if I let my baby cry for 3 hours for any reason.

Maybe since she was born she was so use to people holding her all the time, and see learnt to sleep this way. But now she is seven months old and now you trying to get her into a routine. Does she take a bottle when she is ready to sleep that way she has comfort and will fall asleep naturally
That a bad habit taking her into your bed. Then she expect that the whole time. Next you have an other crisis. Trying to break that habit.

DON"T EVER let her sleep with you guys. She will like that too much and there goes your sex life for the next 10 years!!! You may need to get stern with her and show her who's the boss!!! She is used to having you wrapped around her finger. And don't put her to bed when you're ready to go to bed, do it early. NEVER let your kids control you!!!

Devolopemenatly the cry them selfs to sleep method is a bad idea. She is at an age when she is learning trust. She trust that if she cries you will do something about it. If you don't do anything about it she will never learn to trust people.
