Hosw much does it cost to become a "top Contributor" in yahoo answers?

FROM WHAT I'VE READ SO FAR, FOCUS YOUR ANSWERS IN A PARTICULAR CATEGORY, GET A BEST ANSWER PERCENTAGE OF AT LEAST 10%, AND BE AN ACTIVE ANSWERER FOR 30 DAYS (YOU MUST ANSWER BETWEEN 45-50 QUESTIONS IN THAT PERIOD) AND YOU WILL GET THE ORANGE BADGE.

Nothing. The exact criteria are apparently not published, but someone has opined that if you answer 50 questions on a topic in a month and score at least 10% Best Answers, that will make you a Top Contributor in that category. This sounds sensible to me.

You become a top contributor by having a strong record within a certain category. I don't know formula used, but it's some combination of questions answered, best answers, and thumbs up. But it is specific to a certain category - for example, I'm a Top Contributor in Movies.

Since you don't pay money for "privileges" in Answers, you don't pay to become a top contributor. You answer many questions in a category or sub-category, with a large percentage of those answers that become best answers. What the formula is, only Yahoo people know.

I believe its by getting so many percent in best answers...... I dont answer to kiss up to the person, i give my honest feelings........so i dont see top contributor in my future.

If you dont agree with some they report you for abuse , isnt that complete crap ? Or give thumbs down. And some people sit on here day and night.............. So yes they would answer more daily questions.

However if this was a members only sight that charged a monthly fee it would get rid of some of the nut cases.....

You don't earn the title "top contributor" by accumlating points. It involves answering questions in a specific category and getting a certain number of best answers in that categogy.

It costs nothing in the money sense but hours a day

of trying to answer questions a best as you can.

basically have been given stated as quickly as for a stupid reason, i became going to charm it, yet different solutions stated they only enable alluring to sound honest. I advise in line with threat it exceeded off some circumstances, yet i think of they have been kidding. only bypass alongside with it, examine the guiellines and words of provider only IN CASE, then delete your e mail speaking approximately it. all of us gets stated now and returned, and it;'s oftentimes for stupid motives, if any.

OK, now I know I'll never be one! P&S is my favorite, but I skip around. It would bore me to stay on a category so much that I became a TC.

Nothing. You can have mine for free. You just have to answer alot in the same category to get one. It doesn't go by points.
