Why aren't Christians speaking out against state terrorism that is being committed against Muslims?

Update:

Official FBI definition of terrorism:

"Terrorism is the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives."

By its own definition the hypocrite U.S. government is guilty of terrorism — on a massive, international scale. And for over 100 years!

The U.S. government has broken international law and the Geneva Convention many times with its brutal use of force and horrific violence against persons and property, to intimidate and coerce governments, civilian populations, and many segments thereof, in furtherance of political, social and especially economic objectives.

Update 2:

From 1991 to the present day the United States Air Force and Navy have slaughtered over 200,000 civilian people in Iraq with Depleted Uranium missiles, cluster bombs, cruise missiles and other so-called "smart bombs." During the "Desert Storm" terror campaign the arsenal also included fuel-air bombs and napalm. U.S. Air Force, Navy and Army pilots even slaughtered Iraqi soldiers who were in full retreat. American pilots joked that it was like "shooting in a sheep pen".

Update 3:

Of course, slaughtering defenseless people with overwhelming force is a hallowed American military tradition.

$$ Why the carnage? Persian Gulf oil, of course. It had absolutely nothing to do with "Kuwaiti independence." Nor has it ever really been about "weapons of mass destruction" — the American biological and chemical weapons supplied by the U.S. government to the Iraqis for use against the Iranians.

Total control of Middle East oil is always a top priority for the U.S. Corporate Mafia Government. They'll stop at absolutely nothing to keep that essential oil flowing into the vast murder-machine of the U.S. military-industrial complex.

With the "Desert Storm" terror campaign, America entered a new high-tech phase of its perennial international terrorism.

Update 4:

WAKE UP!!!!

Waking up to all of this can be quite a shock — if you've got a human conscience. Liberating ourselves from a lifetime of brainwashing isn't easy. But the grim modern realities of American terrorism are less surprising when you realize that this ruthless mass-murder of helpless civilian people internationally is actually quite consistent with America's domestic history...

Few know that we hear what we're intended to hear, nor do they know what they aren't intended to know.

They aren't aware of the Muslims that pray for peace.

They aren't aware of the Muslim Clerics begging to be seen to speak against terrorism.

They don't even wonder at all the Muslim centers in urban areas all across North America which do nothing to harm and everything to heal.

Many of the Christians with influence into the US government think their job is to condemn and finger point.

These things break the hearts of all civilized people.

Don't assume malice when ignorance answers the questions so well.

Remember Christians here think THEY are persecuted because we don't let them run our lives.

I am a follower of Christ, a student of the teachings of Jesus. I know he would feel as I do.

EDIT: It is the abomination that causes desolation.

When you can show when America has used illegal force then your argument might carry some weight. However at no point has the United States used terror tactics for the sake of sowing terror. We have carried out strikes against legitimate military targets as defined by international law and stayed within bounds set by our own law. When individuals within the military have broken these laws they have been prosecuted.

Civilians die in wars, that is just how things work and it has been an axiom since the earliest wars in history. The fact that there are more civilians in a denser area now means that casualties will only go up and while tragic is not the institution of terrorist tactics because more times then not our troops are being shot at from said building, at which point those people are no longer civilians under military law but assistants to the opposing enemy and legitimate targets. We do not however blow up buildings just because that is what we want to do regardless of the consequences. We do not fly planes into office buildings or blow up cars or people in market places.

I note that your list is all reported by you, and all of it legal under international law and therefore not of a terroristic nature, but good job on the propaganda. Once again, when you can show me illegal action then you will have an argument, until then you have nothing but hatred and defeat.

Most of Christians deny the mere existence of terrorism. Unofficial definition of terrorism is TERRORISM = ISLAM, it's just they don't want to say it out loud. Why they don't speak against it? Several reasons:

    1) Many refuse to accept the truth about it

    2) They think it is ok to kill Muslims

    3) They think that Muslim lives have lesser value than American lives

    4) They believe it's the right way to do

After all, many Christians still believe crusades were just, and Bush or Mr Danger as Hugo Chavez calls him, said himself that war in Iraq is a crusade. In his words: "this crusade is gonna take a while" - referring to the war in Iraq.

There are many good Christians around but they are outspoken by Christian extremists. Furthermore, those Christians who silently disagree with the US policy of violence and terrorism don't feel the need to speak out against it because they are not pressured by the society and aren't suspects by default like Muslims are. Think of a Christian passing airport control and a Muslim...who will get intimidated?

US terrorists are in control so they made everything in their favour. If Al-Qaeda was in control I'm sure Christians would be speaking out aloud against Christian and Jewish terrorism. But so far, their stance is denial and many are Muslim haters and even more are Islam haters, and thumbs down to Muslim answerers just confirm the theory.

I think that most Christians are peaceful people and have nothing against us Muslims, but they may not be aware of the "terrorism" against Muslims.

Or they may not be bothered since radical Muslims have been doing their fair share of terrorism in different parts of the world which is now bad in Asia (think Phillippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand).

Personally as a Muslim, I have never found the Christians being mean to me or anything like that. I have friends of different faiths and races, and there has never been any discrimination against me or other Muslims.

Of the Christians that dislike Muslims, all I can say is please do not think that all Muslims are bad and that Islam is a religion that promotes violence and hatred.

On the contrary, Islam urges and encourages Muslims to do good and not speak or react harshly to people of other religions. Every chapter in the Quran talks about peace.

The Muslims that have been seen retaliating and making lives difficult for all of us are the ones that should be punished. Do not "punish" the rest of us who have done nothing wrong.

Also, I need to stress this time and time again. Muslims do not hate Jesus Christ! We believe in him and the Virgin Mary, except that we reject the idea that he is God. We accept him as one of God's prophets and he is also one of the 4 messengers that God sent down his religious books.

The Quran states that 4 prophets received books from God through the Angel Gabriel (sender of divine revelations to the Prophets, the Angel of Providence).

These four are prophet David (Daud) (pbuh) to whom he sent the Psalms (Zabur), prophet Moses (Musa) (pbuh) to whom he sent the Torah (Tawrid), prophet Jesus (Isa) (pbuh) to whom he sent the Gospels (Injil) and prophet Muhammad (saw) to whom he sent the Quran.

Any Muslim who rejects any prophet or compares them are not Muslims because we are told in the Quran that all prophets were Muslims and they are all equal.

I think we should all get over this religion issue and not dictate the way one is supposed to live. After all, we were born with free will, to choose good or bad, the truth or deception etc.

So with the decisions we make in life, we should bear the consequences and not make others suffer.

While we are alive, we should strive to make amends and make peace with ourselves and the people around us cos when we are at peace with ourselves, we will be good to the people around us.

I'm glad that some Muslims are against terrorism;however, there is no doubt that some Muslims are terrorists and some more support them because it is a part of Islam. You cannot expect Muslims to denounce that which allah has allowed: Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward." Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-" Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Quran (9:111) - "Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme." Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him." Bukhari (52:220) - Allah's Apostle said... 'I have been made victorious with terror'

Maybe if Muslims started speaking out about the world wide terrorism being committed against EVERYONE, by their colleagues they might find more sympathy from the rest of us.

Muslims sure know how to rally and kill if someone should look sideways at a picture of Mohammed, but keep pretty damn quiet about everything else.

So..why would anyone else rouse themselves to care about Muslims, when their own actions tells us they don't care about anything but Muslims, either?

EDIT : Sorry - I thought slaughtering innocent civilians was the habit of Saddam in his treatment of his own people and of Osama Bin Laden and his MUSLIM followers? My mistake - must have been a bunch of Jews flying those jets.

There is none in my country, the US

Muslims are free to come and go, use their Visa and American Express card, wear their Hajib, drive their Merceds Mini Vans, go to the Mosque and pray.

Now if someone at that Mosque tells them they should get an AK 47 and kill people, that person does get arrested by the FBI and Homeland Security. I agree with that!

    Because religion is poisoning everything.

They believe that Muslims are heretics and evil, Muslims believe Christians and Jews are evil. Or at least some do.

Personally I think it is al stupid, because it is stupid the mess this world has because of disparate mythologies.

You might as well be killing each other over the belief in Mickey Mouse.

Such as? I knew if I checked back it would be about the war in Iraq.

Sorry chief, thats not a religious war. Just because there are Christians (and non christians) fighting due to a national obligatoin (not religious).....does not make it state-sponsored terrorism. And no national military is even remotely considered "terrorists" by any definition.

Asking loaded questions with a preconceived answer in mind is fruitless. You might as well just put on blinders to the world and only believe what fits your preconceived notions.

Where would that be? Are you talking about the Jews? They have been kicked in the teeth for 3000 years, and a lot of that kicking was done by Muslims. I'd probably kick back too.

If you can't take it, don't dish it out
