Springfield Armory mdl.1911 A-1 .45 ACP. It's a personally owned weapon. The Dept. issues a Glock mdl#35 and I have a Glock mdl #27 for off-duty special event use. The Dept. allows Officers the choice of an issued weapon or a personally owned weapon if it meets the Dept. standards.

I use PMC Starfires in both.

And my title is Patrolman III

Glock 17 with Black Talon 9 mm.

Remington 12 ga Magnum in the front seat with 00 buck, extended tube.

Rock River Arms AR15 in the trunk with five 30 round mags of .223 Federal hollow points.

Uniformed patrol supervisor in major Florida city.

Glock 17, back up Glock 23. We buy our own weapons, weren't given a choice and had to go with the Glock 17 for first two years.

The ammo is Winchester, jacketed hollow point

I am a deputy sheriff.

I carry a S&W 5906 9mm as duty weapon, loaded with Black Talon ammo.

My backup/off duty is a S&W Model 66, 357 mag, with .38 caliber Hydra-Shok ammo.

I own my own weapons.

Sig Arms P228 duty, Sig Arms P230 personal, both with hydro-shock ammo. Title is Inspector

My rank is officer.

I carry a .40 calibur Glock model 22 while on duty. (issued)

I carry a .40 calibur Glock Model 23 while off duty. (personal)

ammo is Winchester

I carry a Sig p220 in 45 acp both on duty and off. Sometimes carry a 9mm s&w 3913 tactical off duty, it is my backup weapon. Both are non issued personal guns loaded with Hydra-shoks
