As for Iraq, we shouldn't have gone there in the first place - no WMD or Bin Laden. Bush was just trying to un-emasculate his father for his father's failings in the first Gulf War.

Yes, perhaps Saddam was a ruthless dictator, but it's not our place to tell the entire world how to run themselves, the country is worse off now than it was before, it's cost us TRILLIONS of dollars and lives.

DISGUSTED. I hope the American people who voted for Bush are happy. We have a clueless president who thinks he is the Great Oz. It's funny. My 11 year old had a history assignment and the question was, "Why is it important to study history?" In discussing the topic I said to her, "It's important to know about things like Vietnam so we won't repeat the same mistakes." She then looked at me and said, "Like we're doing now in Iraq." It should have been expected, We still have troops in Korea and that war was over 40 years ago, we will have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq for a very long time.

Considering all the upcoming president canidates have mentioned their policy on getting our troups on home soil when they are put in office, I don't think they will be there forever. But they still will be in Iraq for a long time.
