In short, I have disabled Internet Explorer on my computer and would like to know if there is some option I can change in AVG to make it use a different browser such as firefox.

Here is what I remember for sure, there is a forest and these lumberjack guys come and paint red X's on the trees and a big evil looking, sludge spewing yellow tractor comes and cuts them down. In the end the hero's save the day by breaking the tractor.

Its a long story, but I now have 32bit cd which was placed in the 64bit sleeve, so I have a 64bit cd code but a 32bit cd. before i go to all the trouble of installing just want to know, Will it work?

I cant figure out what type processor my friends computer is(core2, pentium d etc...)All I can find is what windows vista and the bios tells me. Which is:

Genuine Intel(R) CPU 3.73GHZ 3.20GHz

both windows and the bios tell me this same thing.

So I looked around and found that there is a Pentium EE that has these frequencies, but I am not 100% sure. I tried emailing intel but I cant get an actual person to reply to me.

I have 64 bit vista, and everything works great except one small problem.

If I leave my computer on the login screen the computer will freeze when the screensaver tries to load(takes 30min of inactivity to launch screensaver). The screen will go black and I am forced to push the restart button if I want to use the computer.

The screen saver works fine when I am logged in, it only freezes when its on the login screen.

Is there some way to fix this?

I have been looking around and I see that all the new motherboards have PCI-Express 2.0.

Is it worth the extra money to get a motherboard with this feature or does it make much of a difference?

How long will it take for programs to come out that will actually use this feature?

That 30 min feels like it lasts longer then the other 71/2 hours.
