Where can I find a an easy scope mount for an sks?

the most stable and reliable sks scope mount ever. all the other receiver mounts are garbage. this uses the rear leaf sight without any mods. i have two of theses and surplus rifles has an article on it.

Check the online outlets (MidwayUSA, CheaperThanDirt, Brownells, etc) they all sell scope mounts for the SKS, but whether they are reliable is a case by case thing.

I replaced the rear cover on a friend's Norinco that was drilled and tapped for a picatinny rail, but it required some "finessing" to get it installed.

I've yet to see an SKS scope mount that was worth the breath it took to give it a good cussing.

Let me suggest you replace the rear sight blade with a good ghost ring sight and be happy.

I used (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SKS852-829-1512.htm... for several years. It's a toolless swap, remove the old receiver cover, and slide this one on in it's place. It's part of a kit with the scope, and a pack of stripper clips, which are always good.
