What processor is this?
I cant figure out what type processor my friends computer is(core2, pentium d etc...)All I can find is what windows vista and the bios tells me. Which is:
Genuine Intel(R) CPU 3.73GHZ 3.20GHz
both windows and the bios tell me this same thing.
So I looked around and found that there is a Pentium EE that has these frequencies, but I am not 100% sure. I tried emailing intel but I cant get an actual person to reply to me.
dxdiag says the same thing
its not an older processor, its either a Pentium EE, or a Core 2,
It has 2 physical cores and 2 hyperthreaded, windows thinks 4 cores, so its not old.

it is probably one of the older chips. I have vista and it tells me everything that i need to know about my processor.
