When are Rudy and the other Repubs going to publically repudiate Boehner for devaluing our troops sacrifice?
Rudy, in a typical cheap grandstanding political move, is blasting Hillary for the MoveOn ad, which of course, she had nothing to do with.
Since he is so insistent on her disavowing a statement from a controversial left-wing group that she has no involvement with (other than the fact that she is a liberal politician), is HE going to condemn Boehner for the following?
"Just yesterday on CNN, Wolf Blitzer asked John Boehner, the leader of the GOP in the House, this question (video on Horse's Mouth):
"The loss in blood, the Americans who are killed every month, how much longer do you think this commitment, this military commitment is going to require?"
Mr. Boehner responded:
"The investment that we're making today will be a small price if we're able to stop al Qaeda here, if we're able to stabilize the Middle East, it's not only going to be a small price for the near future, but think about the future for our kids and their kids."
To the neocons, the loss of over 3700 American troops and severe injury to 20,000 more is characterized as an "investment" and a "small price". Talk about outrageous.
Con4life: Look DOLT, the death of 3000 American soldiers is just a bit more important than your obsession with Clinton BJ's. You are a despicable little worm.
Nianque: I don't know what you are trying to say, but regardless it is NOT a 'small' sacrifice. Period.
Alias: Yes, but he didn't say THAT. He said what he said.

Let's see 3,700 troops who volunteered and knew what they were getting into when they signed up, to prevent the deaths of another 7,000 innocent, unsuspecting civilians in another 9/11.
Yeah you're right, it's not worth it at all.

While Boehner is despicable by nature and most utterances, his answer in this case was entirely cogent. He thinks there is something legitimate to the Iraq effort, and in that sense, he's entirely right in his assessment of the value of military lives lost.
Your question implies that the validity of a conflict is solely a function of the toll on military lives. What's more true is that the some conflicts are worth everything - perhaps not this one (and I was against Iraq from the start), but some. We lost some million-plus soldiers and sailors in World War II - I'm goddamn happy we did.
As one who agrees with you that the POLICY is wrong, I'm sorry to say that your indignation is misplaced here.

The ***** has become The Decider's BFF.He has been described as the administration's voice on Capitol Hill, because, get this,"the White House has no credibility"on much of anything.
Apparently,he spends part of every day stroking Chimpy's ego.
This idiot just repeats the other idiot's talking points to gain access to the lame duck throne.

look stupid.....
Yeah it's a small price compared to 3000 in one morning because of Clinton being in the "oral office" getting head while these arabs smuggled themselves here in the US and plotted 9/11.
Source(s): hahaha Bashing me??? Thats what all democrats do when they know they are wrong.
