OJ Simpson Book...I just have to ask.....?

Is anyone going to read this now that the Goldman family is publishing it? On Oprah yesterday there were some good points from the Goldman Family, Denise Brown (who is against the book being published) and the audience.

Will you buy it? Will you read it? What do you think of the Goldman family for publishing it?

I will not buy the book nor read it. I read an article about why it's wrong for this thing to be published even though the publisher has a right to do so. Very interesting. It talked about an about face the Goldman's took in allowing this publisher to publish it. It has a 14,000 word commentary, I'm assuming from the Goldmans and the title appears to say I Did It, with the If so small you really have to look at it. The author says "The Killer". I may check out a copy in the book store to see if this is so but that's as far as I'll take it.

The Goldmans are probably doing this to get money as they won't get a thing from OJ. Since I'm not in the Goldman's shoes, I really cannot say whether they are right or wrong in letting it be published. I'm sure they have more reasons for doing so that we will never know about.

I'm not sure if I will buy it but i think I will read it - maybe check it out at the library or borrow someone's copy - I may buy it though because I think it would be great for the book to make millions and for OJ to be sickened by it because he isn't getting any of the money. I too think both families had legitimate points - but it is good revenge on OJ for the Goldmans to make the money on something OJ put hard work into. I'm kind of divided on whether to buy it but I think I will definitely read it to see what all the fuss is about

I'm curious, but not curious enough to buy it, but I'd probably read someone else's copy. If I remember the press on this correctly, the Goldmans get the book rights b/c of all the money OJ still owes them, right? So in a roundabout way, by buying the book, WE'd be paying OJs debt for him...no thanks.

I met Denise Brown a few years ago at a charity fundraiser for the women's shelter in my homeotwn.

After listening to her speak, I have respect for her and am happy to honor her boycott. I won't buy the book, nor read it. And I will encourage others to do the same.

I am not buying the book, but if I hear Goldman right, it's all about taking away from Simpson metaphorically 'You took my son away from me, now I am gonna take everything I can away from you'......something like that.

I myself believe O.J. did kill his x-wife, and Ron Goldman. I believe that the restaurant owner has the right to serve/not serve anyone he chooses. I think it's terrible what O.J. thinks he has gotten away with. If Charles Manson was walking around free, and came in to my health club, I wouldn't let him in the locker room! It isn't about race!! Are we so blind that we can't see he is a murderer! He nearly cut Nichole's head off! I followed that case, every day...and much after. There were photos that the police didn't show, of O.J.'s house. In one photo there was a box balanced on the bathtub, it was a Swiss army knife box. He told police he didn't own any knives! I'm a nurse. I can not put on gloves over the top of my hospital gloves. I also ride motorcycles. When my leather gloves got wet, they shrank! (Like soaking them in blood, would do!) I couldn't put on shrunken leather gloves over hospital gloves! Especially if I didn't want them to fit!

I will not read or buy the book. It is all about Fred Goldman trying to get his due from OJ. I can understand, Fred sells shoes for Macy's in Scottsdale AZ, I have met him and he is one POed guy, I would be to. He has to face facts, OJ is to slick for him to nail down and get money from. As for publishing it, comes down to the $$$$$$$$.

I think they went back on their word. They will be making money off it, very little goes to the children of Nicole. I had someone e-mail me the book, and yes I read it, and yes he did it exactly the way he described it in this book. What a sick bastard he is, now he's a thief, for breaking into a hotel room and stealing sports memorabilia.

I'm guessing the Goldman's are doing anything they can to work against Simpson. More power to them.

I also think O.J. Simpson is not the sort of Legacy Johnny Cochran had planned on.

If they truly want to stick it to OJ then every single penny should be donated to a charity that actually helps victims of crime
